The variety is the result of selection from the hybrid combination C30-2-3-5 / Magvas. The grain is classified as type HR (hard red wheat) and is characterized by a studied composition of high-molecular and low-molecular weight glutenins.
The plant possesses high resistance to local races of stem rust, due to the presence of specific resistance genes, including those on chromosome 7A. Resistance to leaf spot pathogens Pyrenophora tritici-repentis and Phaeosphaeria nodorum has also been confirmed.
