Seda DS is a winter form of soft wheat. During breeding work, the variety was assigned the number LŽI 9738. Studies note low variability in the grain quality indicators of this variety, which indicates the high stability of its traits.
The product quality of the variety is characterized by weak gluten. According to the results of field trials, the variety shows susceptibility to infection by common bunt (Tilletia tritici).
