Soft wheat variety Stanka was developed by specialists of the Agricultural Institute in Osijek. The variety belongs to early-maturing varieties.
In scientific literature, the variety is mentioned in the context of historical reviews of wheat breeding in Croatia and appears in the list of varieties recognized in 1991. Detailed morphological traits and product quality characteristics are absent in open publications.
