The Zdravko variety is mentioned in a number of scientific papers devoted to the study of genotype-environment interaction and wheat productivity in Bulgaria, where it is cited as an object of comparison with other varieties. In these studies, the variety is characterized by unstable and low yield.

In official EU documents, the Zdravko variety was listed among wheat varieties subject to deletion from registration as of 2014.
