The variety belongs to the late-maturing group; however, maturation periods vary depending on the region: from mid-late to mid-early with a vegetation period of 223 to 270 days. The plants are tall, reaching a height of 90 to 108 cm.
The grain of the variety is red and large, the thousand kernel weight is 36–54 g. Grain quality is defined as "strong wheat" with baking characteristics ranging from satisfactory to excellent. The variety shows susceptibility to Fusarium, yellow rust, Septoria, and powdery mildew.
The variety is able to tolerate soil salinization and possesses satisfactory winter hardiness. It is often used in breeding programs as a parent form or standard for improving grain quality indicators and resistance to stress factors.
