The variety belongs to the erythrospermum botanical variety. The plant is short-stemmed, characterized by an upright bush and an intense waxy coating on the leaves. The spike is white, awned, cylindrical in shape, and 100–110 mm long. The grain is red and long.
The growing season of the variety is 282–290 days. It possesses increased winter hardiness, drought tolerance, and heat resistance, as well as complex resistance to leaf rust, stem rust, Septoria, and root rots. It exhibits high productive tillering; the thousand kernel weight is 38–44 g.
The crude protein content in the grain ranges from 12.5 to 14.0%, and gluten content from 27.5 to 33.6%. The flour strength is 320–420 a.u. The variety is for universal use and is recommended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones.
