The Dimyat variety belongs to the species Vitis vinifera L. and is an autochthonous Bulgarian variety traditionally cultivated in the eastern part of Bulgaria and along the Black Sea coast. This variety is also known by the synonyms Smederevka and Belina Krupna.

The clonal variant Dimyat cl. 4 24 is an object of ampelographic description and genetic analysis. According to the results of microsatellite analysis, at the DNA level, this clone does not have significant differences from the main population of the variety; however, in ampelographic description, differences may be observed in individual morphological traits of young shoots, leaves, bunches, and berries.
