The variety is a natural hybrid originating from Spain. Genetically, it is a product of crossing the Ferral variety with an unknown variety. It belongs to table grape varieties with a medium or medium-late ripening period.

The plant has rounded five-lobed leaves without pubescence. The flower is of a functionally female type, which requires cross-pollination. Large cylindrical clusters bear very large pink oval-shaped berries with firm skin, a thick waxy bloom, and a harmonious taste.

The variety is characterized by low yield, a tendency for ovary shedding, and weak resistance to fungal diseases and frost. In modern viticulture, it is also found in the form of individual clones.
