The variety is the result of crossing Merlot and Abouriou. It belongs to mid-season varieties, characterized by sufficient yield and the ability to grow on various soil types.
The grapes are used exclusively for technical purposes for the production of red wines. The finished drinks are distinguished by their lightness, moderate alcohol content, the presence of light herbaceous notes, and a characteristic aromatic bouquet.
