The variety is for wine production and belongs to the species Vitis vinifera. The parent forms are the Ehrenfelser and Reichensteiner varieties. The plant is characterized as being less demanding of growing conditions, successfully adapts to various soil types, and demonstrates stable fruit set.

The ripening period of the variety occurs approximately two weeks earlier than that of Riesling. The grape possesses resistance to phylloxera and fungal diseases. The berries have a greenish-yellow color, and the finished wine is distinguished by its aroma, pronounced acidity, and flavor qualities reminiscent of Riesling.
