Variety description

The variety has medium vigor with an upright shoot habit and insignificant lateral shoot formation. The shoot tip is heavily pubescent, yellow-green. The leaf is small to medium, medium-dissected, resembling the leaf of Riesling in shape. Clusters are small, dense, cylindrical-conical, sometimes winged. Berries are medium, round, yellow-green in color with thin but tough skin and juicy flesh.

The variety possesses a certain degree of frost resistance and moderate resistance to downy mildew. It ripens earlier than Riesling and is capable of maturing well in regions with insufficient heat. Yield is medium, higher than that of Riesling. It is used for the production of high-quality white wines, including Prädikatswein and ice wines, characterized by fruity and floral aromas with pronounced acidity.
