Enfariné Noir is an autochthonous variety from northeastern France. The variety received its name due to the abundant waxy bloom on the berries, resembling flour dust. Genetically, the variety is a descendant of Gouais Blanc.

Morphologically, the variety is represented by medium-sized cylindrical-conical bunches and rounded dark blue berries. Biological characteristics include high yield, as well as susceptibility to flower/berry drop. The variety shows resistance to downy mildew, botrytis, black rot, and frost.
