The plant has vigorous growth. Leaves are medium-sized or large, 3–5-lobed, weakly dissected, and smooth. Clusters are medium-sized, conical, often winged, and dense in structure. Berries are medium-sized, round, dark blue in color, and covered with a waxy bloom.

The variety ripens between late September and early October. Yield is 10–14 t/ha. The crop is sensitive to fungal diseases, has medium to low winter hardiness, and prefers well-warmed sites with gravelly, sandy, or loamy soils.

The grapes are intended exclusively for winemaking. They produce ruby-colored wines with notes of red berries, cherry, and violet. The variety is suitable both for creating young early wines and for producing quality aged wines in oak barrels.
