The variety is an early-ripening grape with medium vine vigor. It is well adapted to a warm Mediterranean climate and prefers deep, fertile soils.

The grapes are used to create both monovarietal and blended wines, including sparkling wines. The resulting wines are characterized by balanced acidity and aromas of green apple, pear, citrus, almond, and herbs.
