A wine grape variety of the species Vitis vinifera L. of French origin from the Charente and Gironde regions. In international classification, the letter "B" indicates the white color of the berry skin. The variety is a synonym for the Burger variety.

The plant is sensitive to grey mold and poorly tolerates cool climates, in which the berries do not ripen and the skin becomes vulnerable to frost. The variety demonstrates a certain resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew. In agrotechnics, the use of spur pruning is recommended.

Currently, the variety has limited distribution; small plantings are found in California, where it was historically used for the production of inexpensive mass-market wines.
