Montonera, also known as Montonera del Casar, is a white wine grape variety with light-skinned berries. The variety is considered rare and is currently being actively studied as part of Spain's genetic heritage.

The plant demonstrates resistance to arid conditions and maintains high total acidity in hot climates, which allows for the production of white wines with a unique sensory profile and greenish hues. The variety should not be confused with the pink-skinned Catalan grape Montonega.
