The tip of the young shoot is light green with sparse arachnoid pubescence; young leaves may have a bronze tinge. The adult leaf is large, three-lobed, slightly dissected, without pubescence on the underside, with a closed petiole sinus.
The variety is not resistant to low temperatures in the range of -19…-22°C. Wines are characterized by an intense aroma with notes of exotic fruits, Muscat, apples, and flowers, fresh acidity, and medium body. If maturity is insufficient, the wine may acquire herbaceous or "mousy" tones.
Despite the name and aroma, the variety does not belong to the Muscat family. Genetic data indicate that it is the result of crossing the Silvaner and Muskat blanc à petits grains varieties.
