Variety description

The vines of the variety have medium vigor, and the shoots are characterized by red internodes. Leaves are round, five-lobed, deeply dissected, with dense pubescence on the underside; young leaves have a reddish hue with bronze spots. The flower is hermaphroditic.
Clusters are small, cylindrical in shape, and range from dense to very dense. Berries are small, slightly oval, black in color with a thick bloom, thin skin, and juicy flesh.
The variety has a medium ripening period and unstable yields. It is characterized by sensitivity to sunburn, susceptibility to chlorosis and grey mold, but possesses low susceptibility to black spot.
The grapes are intended for winemaking. It is used to produce light, pale red wines with peppery and spicy notes, rosé wines, as well as base wines for sparkling drinks, which are characterized by high acidity.
