Variety description

The variety has bushes with moderate vigor. Bunches are medium-sized, weighing about 236 g, cylindrical-conical in shape, ranging from semi-dense to loose. Berries are medium, oval, dark blue in color with abundant waxy bloom, thick skin, and intensely red pulp.

The variety is characterized by high resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, grey mold, and low winter temperatures. Technical maturity under Pleven conditions occurs at the beginning of October.

The grapes accumulate 17–22% sugars with an acidity of 9.5–12 g/dm³. Due to its intense red color and high acidity, wine materials from this variety are used to adjust other wines.
