Variety description

The variety is characterized by early bud burst. Clusters are medium-sized, conical in shape, and loose or moderately compact. Berries are medium-sized, round, blue-black in color, covered with a waxy bloom; berry stalks are long.
The variety is often used as a model object in scientific biotechnological research, including studies of tissue regeneration methods and the introduction of resistance genes to downy mildew and powdery mildew. It is maintained in genetic collections as an important resource.
