The variety has hermaphroditic flowers and is characterized by early bud break and ripening. The vines are noted for high vigor. The bunches have a conical shape and high density, which creates a predisposition to rot infection, while the berries are round, black, with juicy flesh.

The variety has moderate winter hardiness down to -19...-21°C and low resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew. The grapes require favorable climatic conditions with a high sum of active temperatures. Technical characteristics allow for the production of wines with rich color and high alcohol content.
