Servant, also known as Servan or Gros Vert, is a natural hybrid of the varieties Wildbacher de Hongrie and Achladi. It is a traditional grape vine with pentagonal, deeply incised leaves that have seven or nine lobes, and perfect flowers.

Clusters are medium or large, cylindrical or cylindro-conical in shape, and medium-dense. The berries are large, oval-shaped, and white with a possible amber-pink tint. The flesh is fleshy, the skin is medium-thick or thick, and the taste is neutral.

The ripening period is characterized as early-mid or mid-season. The variety is susceptible to fungal diseases and frost, but possesses increased resistance to grey mold. The berries are covered with a thin waxy bloom and withstand transportation well.
