The variety is a hybrid of Baroque and Cot. The plant is characterized by very high growth vigor; shoots have an upright position. Bunches are medium-sized; berries are small and round.

The variety is mid-season; the ripening period occurs approximately two weeks after the Chasselas variety. It is well-adapted to mechanical harvesting and requires vine growth control due to its high vigor.

The variety has low sensitivity to grey mold. It is used exclusively in winemaking, producing wine with intense color, fruity notes, and high alcohol content. Under unfavorable conditions, herbaceous tones may appear in the wine.
