The variety is vigorous. Leaves are medium-sized, mostly five-lobed and medium-dissected. Clusters are medium-sized, cylindrical-conical in shape, and compact. Berries are medium, round, and have a green-yellow color.

The plant possesses increased resistance to chlorosis and good tolerance to lime in the soil. The variety is prone to powdery mildew and downy mildew, and in unfavorable years, gray mold is possible. It requires good conditions for complete ripening to avoid excessive acidity.

The variety is high-yielding and often requires thinning to achieve high berry quality. Used for the production of a wide range of wines: from dry to dessert categories. The wine is dominated by notes of black currant, grapefruit, and exotic fruits. Also known by the names Samling 88 and Dr. Wagnerrebe.
