The variety was bred in Velké Pavlovice (Czech Republic) as a result of the hybridization of Müller-Thurgau and Sauvignon varieties. Its primary purpose is for use as a technical (wine) grape variety.
In Slovak winemaking practice, the variety is considered promising for obtaining high-quality products. It is included in the lists of varieties used in scientific research on grapevine genetic resources and in regional winemaking practice.
