The Sérénèze N variety (also known as Sérénèze de Voreppe) belongs to the species Vitis vinifera L. Genetically, it is the result of a natural crossing of the varieties Chatus N and Gouais blanc. It is intended exclusively for winemaking and is used to provide freshness and acidity to wines.

The plant belongs to the late-ripening group. The variety is characterized by disease resistance, which makes it promising for adapting viticulture to changing climatic conditions. Currently, work is underway on the conservation and propagation of this rare variety.
