The variety belongs to the Terret family and is late-ripening. The plant has high vigor and yield. The leaves are medium-sized, five-lobed, with an open lyre-shaped petiole sinus. The shoot tip is open, with heavy white-felt pubescence.

The bunches are dense, conical or cylindrical-conical in shape, and medium to large in size. The berries are medium, round or slightly elongated, with a light shade at maturity. The variety is highly susceptible to downy mildew and powdery mildew, and is also sensitive to sunburn.

Wine from Terret blanc is characterized by lightness, moderate acidity, and a fresh aroma with notes of citrus, white flowers, dried meadow herbs, and mineral undertones. Previously, the variety was widely used in the production of base wines for vermouths and distillates.
