The variety name is of Turkic origin, meaning "fox tail" due to the shape of the cluster. Bushes have medium to above-medium vigor. The growing season is approximately 157 days; the harvest takes place at the end of September.
Clusters are medium-sized, cylindrical or cylindrical-conical, weighing 90–234 g. Berries are yellowish-green, slightly oval, with thin, firm skin and juicy pulp. The variety is moderately resistant to downy mildew, susceptible to powdery mildew, gray mold, and grape berry moth, and relatively resistant to phylloxera.
The grape vine poorly tolerates winter damage. Under unfavorable conditions, poor pollination and berry shriveling (millerandage) of up to 25% are often observed. Wines produced from this variety are characterized by high acidity, minerality, and freshness.
