Carcajolo Blanc is a mid-ripening wine grape variety with high yield. The leaves are dark green, deeply dissected, the bunches are cylindrical and dense, and the berries are round with a thick bloom. The variety is susceptible to powdery mildew and grey mold, and produces wines with high acidity.
Carcajolo Nero is a vigorous red wine grape variety, presumably originating from Spain and identical to the Parraleta variety. It has medium-sized bunches and large berries, and is prone to sour rot. The wines are characterized by intense color, berry aromas and notes of Mediterranean vegetation.
