The variety belongs to the seedless group, where the letter "B" in the name indicates the yellow-green color of the berry skin. The purpose of the variety is primarily industrial, for canning, although it can also be used as a table grape.
Ampelographic characteristics include a young shoot tip with low density of prostrate hairs and green leaves with bronze or reddish spots. Mature leaves are small in size, rounded in shape, and five-lobed with a moderately open U-shaped sinus.
