Cibik is not an independent agrotechnical variety, but represents a variant name for the ancient variety Zibibbo or Muscat of Alexandria. The variety belongs to the wine and table categories and is used for winemaking, fresh consumption, and drying.
The grape clusters are large and loose; upon reaching maturity, the berries acquire an amber or golden-green hue. The fruits possess a pronounced muscat aroma with characteristic notes of orange blossom, citrus, and apricot.
