The variety is a hybrid obtained from crossing Merlan and Fratava. The plant is characterized by medium shoot vigor. Leaves are medium or small in size, rounded, with a wavy blade. Clusters are medium or small in size, medium density. Berries are small, rounded, dark blue in color with a waxy bloom, pulp without anthocyanin coloration.

Technical maturity of the berries occurs in the third ten-day period of October. The variety has resistance to oidium and grey mold, medium resistance to downy mildew. Yield is medium or high, must sugar content is high. The wine is distinguished by a deep ruby color, flavor and aroma profile includes notes of wild berries and prunes.
