The variety is ancient and of unknown origin. The vine leaves are rounded, weakly lobed, with serrated edges. The clusters are characterized as small or medium, shouldered and dense. The berries change color from greenish to pale pink during the ripening process.
The plant is noted for high yield and resistance to frost, drought, and gray mold. It is well adapted to growing in sandy soils. The harvest takes place in the second half of October.
Wines from this variety have low acidity, light body, and a neutral taste. Due to physicochemical characteristics, it is recommended to consume the wines young, within the first year after production.
