Variety description

The variety is a medium-vigor plant with large, loose bunches. The medium-sized berries have thin skin and a light greenish-yellow color. It is characterized by high yield and good adaptation to hot, dry climates; it is drought and oxidation resistant and grows well in poor stony soils. It is susceptible to downy mildew and sensitive to excess moisture.

The grapes are suitable for mechanical harvesting. The resulting wines possess a neutral aromatic profile, which makes the variety convenient for blending. Young wines are characterized by medium to high acidity and tones of apple, pear, and citrus. When aged in oak, they acquire notes of honey, nuts, and wax.
