The variety is the result of crossing Madeleine angevine and Bouquettraube varieties. It belongs to the Vitis vinifera culture and is classified as a table grape with an early ripening period.
The berries of the variety have a white skin color, which is reflected in the ampelographic designation B (Blanc). Currently, the cultivation areas of the variety in France are minimal.
