The variety is a natural hybrid of the Frankenthal and Pinot varieties. The vines have moderate vigor. The clusters are characterized by medium size and density, and the berries are medium-sized, round-shaped, with thin skin and juicy flesh.
The variety ripens very early, traditionally by the end of July. The harvest has low storage and transportation capacity. The taste qualities are harmonious, sometimes with a muscat aroma.
The plant is distinguished by high susceptibility to gray mold and sensitivity to downy mildew. Currently, the commercial use of the variety is limited due to the delicacy of the berries and susceptibility to diseases.
