The variety is thermophilic and light-demanding, possesses low frost resistance and weak resistance to powdery mildew and gray mold. The bushes are medium or vigorous, leaves are large five-lobed with deep notches. For normal development, it requires short pruning on warmed stony soils.
The bunches are medium or large in size, cylindrical-conical in shape and have a loose structure. The berries are oval, greenish-yellow in color, acquiring an amber hue when ripe, with thick skin and fleshy pulp that possesses a rich muscat aroma.
The variety has a multipurpose use: it is used fresh as a table grape, for the production of a wide range of wines, as well as for the production of raisins and other processed products. It has many international synonyms, such as Zibibbo, Moscatel, Hanepoot and Gordo Blanco.
