The variety is the result of crossing Riesling and Madeleine Royale. It is a vigorous vine, requiring trellis training, and is characterized by high yield, as well as being undemanding to soil conditions.
The clusters of the variety have a cylindrical shape, medium or large size, ranging from loose to dense. The berries are medium-sized, round, yellowish-white with a golden hue, with juicy flesh and thick skin. The variety is susceptible to fungal diseases, including downy mildew, powdery mildew, various types of rot, and Phomopsis.
