The variety features strongly pronounced deep lateral leaf sinuses, which makes them appear "cut". The petiole sinus is closed, and the veins on the underside of the leaf have a reddish tint. The flower is hermaphroditic.
The clusters are medium to large in size, pyramidal, medium-dense to dense, often with "wings" and a short, sturdy peduncle. The berries are small and round.
The variety possesses resistance to drought and high temperatures and is characterized by good yield. The wine is characterized by low alcohol content, high tartaric acid content, and an aromatic profile with notes of kumquat, mandarin, and grapefruit.
