The variety was obtained through a complex cross (Frankovka × Svatovavřinecké) × (Merlot × Seibel 13-666). The vines have medium to strong growth vigor. The leaves are medium-sized, pentagonal, and weakly lobed. The bunches are medium-sized, cylindrical-conical, and ranging from medium density to dense.
The berries are small, round, dark blue or blue-black in color with a thick waxy bloom, juicy flesh, and medium-thick skin. The variety belongs to the late-ripening group; the harvest is collected in October. It requires warm sites; south-facing slopes are preferred.
The variety demonstrates resistance to oidium, moderate resistance to mildew and botrytis, as well as good frost resistance. It is distinguished by a very high yield that requires thinning. The wines have a deep ruby or purple color and notes of raspberry and blackberry in the taste.
