A late-maturing variety with medium shoot vigor and a semi-erect growth habit. Clusters are medium to large in size, conical or conical-pyramidal in shape, of moderate density, and often possess a wing. Berries are medium to large, round or slightly ellipsoid, with a thick blue-black skin, a purple tint, and abundant bloom.
The variety possesses good resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew, yet is sensitive to gray mold and has low frost resistance. It is characterized as a productive and consistent variety. Wines made from it possess a ruby color, high acidity, and moderate tannins, with aromas of wild berries, spices, and herbaceous notes.
