The variety is native to Calabria, with a medium to medium-late ripening period, with the harvest time in early or mid-September. It possesses medium to high growth vigor and demonstrates stable medium yields.
The cluster is medium-sized, cylindrical or conical in shape, ranging from loose to moderately compact. The berry is small to medium in size, spherical, with thick skin covered in a waxy bloom, changing color from amber to bluish-violet. The leaf is medium-large, round, entire or three-lobed.
A wine grape variety primarily for the production of white wines characterized by fresh acidity, good structure, and an aromatic profile with hints of citrus, pear, white peach, and flowers. It is used both in blends and for producing monovarietal wines.
