Variety description

The variety belongs to the species Vitis vinifera L. The parent forms are the Cinsaut and Csaba Gyoengye varieties. The variety is classified primarily as a table grape, though it is sometimes also used as a wine grape.
The vines have low to moderate vigor with semi-erect or horizontal shoots. The leaves are round, three- or five-lobed, with a closed V-shaped petiolar sinus and mucronate teeth. The berries have a round shape.
The variety is distinguished by a very early ripening period and low susceptibility to grey mold. Cultivation techniques allow for various types of vine training, as well as short or long pruning.
