The Perlaut B variety belongs to the species Vitis vinifera L. and is a white grape intended for wine production. The parent forms are the Cinsaut and Csaba Gyöngye varieties.

The plant has a hermaphrodite flower type and is characterized by early ripening, having one of the shortest vegetation periods. During the ripening process, the variety is capable of accumulating sugar up to 16.75%.

Due to the early start of vegetation, there is a risk of the plant being damaged by spring frosts, which must be taken into account when planning plantings.
