The Pergolin variety, also known as Pirgulin, is a rare local landrace originating from the Vipava and Goriška Brda valleys. This variety is included in the list of crops permitted for cultivation in the specified wine-growing regions of Slovenia.

Detailed agronomic and morphological characteristics, such as growth vigor, ripening periods, and disease resistance, are unavailable in open sources. Currently, the variety is under the care of specialized local nurseries engaged in its conservation and distribution.
