Perdin B was obtained by crossing the form 7489 INRA and the variety Csaba Gyöngye. The plant is a hardy vine capable of reaching 4 meters in height and 2 meters in width. The harvest usually occurs in August–September; the variety ripens one week after the Chasselas variety.
The berries of the variety have a golden color and an aromatic flavor. The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and grey mold, which allows it to be grown without the use of chemical protective agents or with minimal treatment. It is used as a table variety for personal consumption and in regions with cool climates.
