The leaf is medium or large, pentagonal in shape, with five lobes. The bunch is medium or large, conical or elongated-pyramidal in shape, ranging from moderately loose to very compact. The berry is medium or small, ranging from spherical to elliptical in shape, dark purple with a waxy bloom. The flower is hermaphroditic.

The variety belongs to the very late ripening group and has medium to high, but unstable yields. Resistance to fungal diseases and frost is low. Optimal growing conditions are dry hilly areas with good exposure. Guyot training with mixed pruning is recommended.

Wine variety for the production of ruby-red wines with purple or cherry hues. The flavor profile includes notes of strawberry, raspberry, red berries, white pepper, and rose petals. The wines are distinguished by freshness, pronounced acidity, and soft tannins.
