The plant possesses strong vertical growth and over time acquires a columnar shape. The foliage changes shade throughout the season: in spring, the shoots and leaves are colored a bright orange, and in summer they become dark red with a thin yellow margin along the edge.
The variety possesses resistance to sunburn, which allows it to maintain its decorative appearance when planted in open sunny areas. The plant is intended for landscape design, including the creation of hedges and use in container gardening.
