Variety description

The vegetation period of the variety is from 90 to 120 days. The root vegetables have an elongated cylindrical shape and reach a length of 15–18 cm with a marketable weight of 160–300 g. The skin is thin, the surface is smooth, and the root vegetables are easily extracted from the soil during harvest.

The flesh is colored dark red, characterized by juiciness, tenderness, and a high content of sugars and betanin. There are no light rings on the cross-section. The variety is of universal purpose, suitable for fresh consumption, all types of home processing, and long-term winter storage.

The variety is undemanding; fertile, humus-rich, sandy loam or loamy soils are recommended for cultivation. The plant is sensitive to frost, so sowing is recommended after the soil has warmed up.
