The plant has a compact shape and low growth, which provides stability and allows it to remain under snow cover. The dark green leaves possess a dense, "moss-like" curl.

The variety is a winter vegetable suitable for sowing in May or June. Harvesting begins after the first autumn frosts, and harvesting can continue until spring. The variety is hardy, develops well with limited access to water and nutrients, and is suitable for container cultivation.

It is an open-pollinated variety, which allows for seed collection for further use. The crop finds application in cooking, particularly in salads and in the preparation of kale chips.
